Two things have always been important to us throughout our journey with Bohemian Skin: that we created our products with minimal impact on the planet and that the efficacy of our products met our customers’ needs. In today's beauty industry, we truly believe that you shouldn't have to compromise one for the other.
In celebration of Earth Day 2022, we wanted to take you through all of the changes and learnings we’ve experienced so far, as well as what you can expect from us in the future.
Vegan & Cruelty-Free
We are committed to creating effective products without inflicting any harm on our animal friends. This means that Bohemian Skin is both 100% vegan and cruelty-free - from our products right down to our processes. All of our products are completely vegan and do not contain anything derived from animals, and our product development, research and ingredient sourcing processes are entirely cruelty-free as well. Yay!
PCR & Recyclable Packaging
As sustainability has always been a core pillar of Bohemian Skin, we knew we had to reevaluate our product packaging and incorporate more sustainable materials moving forward. These days, our entire range is now made with PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) packaging. This packaging is made up entirely of recycled plastic items that have been sorted, extensively cleaned and tested, and then used to make new products. Pretty cool huh!
Each element of our packaging from our boxes, product tubes and the mailing sleeves that you receive your order in can also be recycled. We will continue to educate and encourage our customers to dispose of their packaging correctly.
Earth Conscious Ingredients
We made a conscious decision when we started Bohemian Skin to only use natural ingredients. With such a range of benefits, it seemed like a no brainer to us. Because our products are formulated with 100% natural ingredients, they are safe to wash down the drain and do not harm the environment or our waterways.
Sustainability & The Skincare Industry
We’re enormously proud of the changes we’ve made so far, but rest assured, we’re not done just yet! We’re excited to continue to learn, reevaluate, adapt and do what we can to help lessen the waste from the skincare industry long into the future.
