While A-list stars may have access to the world’s best facial treatments and beauty productsit is important to remember that problematic skin does not discriminate - even celebrities suffer. Here are some skincare secrets that have helped A-list stars achieve a glowing and youthful complexion.  

1. Kim Kardashian: Seaweed Skincare Products 

Always expected to be camera-ready, Kim Kardashian commits to a daily skincare ritual to maintain a flawless complexion. Just like many of us, Kim admits that she struggled with bad acne. That was until she discovered the power of seaweed. As surprising as it sounds, seaweed provides extra hydration for the skin which can help with anti-aging and soothing inflamed skin. According to Kim’s dermatologist, seaweed is loaded with vitamins that will leave your skin appearing radiant and blemish-free.  

2. Priyanka Chopra: Natural DIY Remedies 

Famous actress, Priyanka Chopra opts for natural ingredients in her skincare products. Chopra shared that her go-to skincare routine has always embraced natural remedies passed down by her family members. Some of her favourite natural DIY mask/scrubs are made out of sea salt. She also loves a hint of rose water for her lips, all natural yoghurt and honey for her hair, as well as the use of ubtan and turmeric to soften dry skin. Chopra claims that ubtan has worked wonders for her skin, ensuring a thorough exfoliation and maintaining the right level of moisture.   

3. Hailey Baldwin: Blood Type Diet

Beautiful skin begins from changing what is being internalised from within, according to international model, Hailey BaldwinShe believes that a healthy diet is critical in achieving good skin. Interestingly, Hailey recently shared in the Women’s Health Magazine that she grew up eating foods that are strictly organic and gluten free. According to nutritionists, eating a diet that is rich in antioxidants has a quick healing effect on the skin. Antioxidants carry nutrients such as vitamin A, E and C which helps tremendously in repairing the skin’s textureelasticity, and radiance.    

 4. Scarlett Johansson: Apple Cider Vinegar 

The famous American actress told Glossy Magazine that she cleanses her face with apple cider vinegar as she prefers to take the natural route in skincare. Apple cider vinegar contains powerful antimicrobial properties which can soothe the skin and repair some infections.  

5. Kate Hudson: Ice Facial  

Kate credits the simple yet effective ice bath for her skin’s radiance and glowShe said she has been dunking her face in an ice bath to revive her skin for as long as she remembers – she claims it helps bring out the colour in her cheeks.  

6. The natural pout: Lisa Rinnaand Mariah Carey 

On the hunt for a juicer lip but want to keep it al-natural? Lisa and Mariah have some tips up their sleeve! Lisa is known to rub cinnamon on her lips to give them a subtle plump and Mariah uses peppermint oil to plump up her pout.  

7. Gwyneth Paltrow: Sting therapy 

Painful but apparently pretty incredible, Gwyneth reveals she has received a thousand-year-old treatment called apitherapy – which is an anti-inflammatory treatment where you are stung on the face by multiple bees! Scary! The treatment is also used to reduce the visibility of scars.  

8. Demi Moore: Leech City 

During a cleanse in Austria, Demi participated in leech therapy. Apparently, the leeches release an enzyme into your skin when they bite which helps detoxify your blood to help clear and refresh the skin.
